Building a Podcast Brand from Scratch

The Challenge
The client wanted to launch a new podcast from zero.
The challenge wasn't simply producing episodes.
The objective was to build an audiovisual identity capable of creating recognition across every platform while generating reusable content for long-term communication.

DISCOVERING THE BRAND
Understanding the Client
Every creative decision started with conversations and questions. The goal wasn't to design a logo. It was to understand the personality behind the podcast.
Questions explored:
• Who are you speaking to?
• How is that ecosystem like?
• What emotion should people remember?
• Why should someone keep listening?
BRAND IDENTITY
RECORDING
Each episode required balancing technical quality with natural conversation.
Beyond recording, I continuously evaluated interview dynamics and suggested improvements whenever storytelling or pacing could be strengthened.
MOTION DESIGN & SOUND DESIGN
Rather than using generic motion graphics, every animated element was selected based on audience research. Since the podcast targets the diving community, I incorporated iconic underwater symbols—such as ascending bubbles, diving tanks and marine-inspired visual cues—to create immediate recognition and strengthen the brand identity. The objective was to make viewers feel connected to the podcast's world from the opening seconds.
Music wasn't chosen for aesthetics alone. It reinforced the brand personality while creating a recognizable opening experience for every episode.
CONTENT ECOSYSTEM
Another important part of the project was extending the value of every recording.
Instead of producing a single long-form episode, I transformed each session into multiple assets adapted for different channels and audiences.
As content was published, I worked closely with the client to evaluate audience response.
Together we refined:
• Short-form duration
• Editing rhythm
• Visual pacing
• Interview structure
• Content priorities
CLIENT COLLABORATION
I wasn't simply executing requests.
I actively participated in creative discussions, proposed improvements and helped shape both the audiovisual identity and the interview dynamics throughout the project.
